About Us

The Valuers Training Institute is widely known as the leading educational institute for valuers. Through our partnership with the Australian Valuers Institute, we aim to facilitate the training and continued education of valuers through our Advanced Property Valuation and CPD courses. All courses are conveniently accessible online – you work towards completion at your own pace.

Property Valuation

The Advanced Property Valuation course consists of assignments which cover a wide range of areas such as the legal principles of valuation, giving evidence in legal proceedings, assessing the feasibility of a property investment, property economics, statutory planning processes, the relation of accounting and taxation concepts to property matters, and more.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will be able to register as a fully licensed property valuer after a provisional period who can value residential, commercial and rural properties, and goods and chattel. Our valuation course provides you with all of the resources you need to begin your career as a valuer.

CPD Courses

To meet the yearly requirements for certification as a property valuer, you must complete 10 CPD points. Our institute provides a wide range of CPD courses that are convenient, affordable and tailored to your needs. All courses are recognised by our official partner, the Australian Valuers Institute.

Recognition of Prior Learning

We assess applications for Recognition of Prior Learning on a case-by-case basis. If you have completed previous study in the areas covered by our Advanced Property Valuation course, we will take this into consideration. If you are unsure whether your previous studies meet the criteria, contact us and we will assess your application.
